Today, as in olden times, the pilgrims of Santiago do not fail to gather before the beautiful stone cross erected near the vineyard of La Croix Toulifaut. This name deriving from the Romance language "tot li falt" means everything fails there: i.e. all succumb to it. What could these pious people succumb to in the Middle Ages, except to the pleasure of tasting, as today, an incomparable wine from Pomerol?
