The Past

behind an 18th century gate, on the road to Pétrus, a few hundred metres away and visitors will notice the Château La Croix Saint-Georges, entirely restored. On the facade of one of the cellars, a sculpture depicting St. George fighting on horseback reminds us that this estate once belonged to the knightly order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem.
